UNDERSTANDING REAL ESTATE FUNDAMENTALS

No one can predict the details of the future; we can only assess trends and the directions of history to foretell future events. The DOT COM bubble is history but there were significant lessons to be learned. We now have the housing bubble bursting, coupled with sub prime mortgage foreclosures and defaults. All indicators point to a downturn, with the value of the dollar sliding even further and some asset values, like equities, following the trend. But throughout history everything moves in cycles.
